As you say, utterly...Remember the Kings very well. As you say, utterly implausible (though fun)! An island capable of supporting a whole pygmy tribe, troops of apes and other large fauna, and of sufficient strategic value to the Japanese to be worth setting up a sizeable military presence. And yet no-one comes looking for the plane and all that valuable cargo ....<br /><br />The robot ended up having to sacrifice itself to save the family, and couldn't afterwards be rebuilt. Its name was Fred, IIRC.<br /><br />But even more ludicrous: the Kings managed at one point to get a system of closed-circuit television going!!
